About the editors
Alice Twemlow is a design writer, editorial consultant and curator. She regularly contributes articles to publications such as Print, I.D. Magazine, Eye, New York Magazine, and Step, and is the author of StyleCity: New York (Thames and Hudson). Alice teaches in the graduate program at the Rhode Island School of Design and is a member of the board of directors of AIGA New York. Alice has an MA in design history from a program run jointly by the Royal College of Art and the Victoria & Albert Museum in London.
David Womack is a writer, editor and consultant who contributes articles on design, technology, and culture to publications including I.D. Magazine, Salon.com, The Guardian newspaper (UK) and Cabinet Magazine. He was director of new media at AIGA from 2000-2004 and served as executive editor of GAIN: AIGA Journal of Business and Design, and managing editor of VOICE: AIGA Journal of Design. David has an MFA in creative writing from the University of Virginia.
Their company, Deskwork, is based in Brooklyn, New York.
